Collector's Journal

In contrast to the previous work, this project takes a more personal and reflective approach to identity. Created digitally through the layering and reinterpretation of notes, sketches, and written archives gathered during a formative trip to China several summers ago, the piece explores the relationship between memory, cultural inheritance, and self-discovery. Revisiting these personal records became both an artistic and emotional process, allowing past experiences to be translated through a contemporary lens. The work reflects on how reconnecting with place, history, and cultural roots profoundly reshaped my understanding of identity, ultimately helping guide the development of my own personal sense of self.
